Ageless Living Red Light Mask vs Omnilux: Which LED Mask Should You Buy?
We sell both. Here is an honest comparison of the two LED masks on our shelf — wavelengths, coverage, comfort, warranty and who each one is for — from the clinic that uses them.

Patients ask us which LED mask to buy more than they ask about almost any other product, and the honest answer is that it depends on what you want it to do. We carry two lines because they answer different questions, and we would rather explain the difference than sell whichever is closer to hand.
Omnilux: the specialist
Omnilux is recognised as the world leader in medical-grade LED and is the brand most used by dermatologists in clinic. Its home devices are built on that professional technology. Omnilux Contour uses red and near-infrared for lines, tone and firmness. Omnilux Clear uses blue and red for acne. Both are flexible silicone masks that conform to the face, strap on comfortably, and run a ten-minute programme.
The trade-off is specialisation. Contour does not do acne; Clear does not do near-infrared. If your concern is clearly one or the other, that is a strength.
The Ageless Living mask: the all-rounder
Our mask was designed for the patient whose skin has more than one thing going on, which in our clinics is most of them. Red for ageing, blue for breakouts and near-infrared for inflammation are all in one rigid shell with 243 LEDs for even full-face coverage. It has pre-programmed modes and an auto shut-off, comes with over-the-head straps and a travel bag, carries a two-year warranty and ships free in Canada.
The trade-off is form. A rigid mask sits on the face rather than moulding to it, which some people prefer for hands-free use and others find less cosy than silicone.

How to choose
- Mainly lines, laxity and tone, and you value the softest fit: Omnilux Contour.
- Mainly acne, no interest in anti-ageing yet: Omnilux Clear.
- Breakouts and ageing at once, or you want one purchase that covers everything: the Ageless Living mask.
- Whichever you choose, pair it with a vitamin C serum and expect eight to twelve weeks before judging it.
Questions we hear
- Is Omnilux worth the price?
- For a specialised concern, yes. It is medical-grade technology in a comfortable home device with a strong evidence base behind the brand.
- Which LED mask is best for acne and ageing together?
- A mask with red, blue and near-infrared covers both. On our shelf that is the Ageless Living Red Light and Acne Therapy Mask.
- Can I use an LED mask every day?
- Yes. Three to five sessions a week is the sweet spot; daily use is fine, but more than one session a day adds nothing.
